Julia Coulter was born in Boston. Her family settled in Hanover, New Hampshire when Julia was the mere age of 7, and this is where they have since called home. While in high school, Julia was involved in over 10 plays (both at the high school and in her community) in the course of four years, while also juggling being on Hanover's varsity crew team. After graduating in 2010, she continued to follow her dream of becoming an actor, which brought her to The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales where she spent three years honing her skills. The school was named the top drama school in the UK by the Guardian newspaper in 2013 and again this year. The school gave Julia opportunities to meet and work with many industry professionals. Since arriving in LA she's appeared in the Investigation Discovery Channel's shows Murder Among Friends and Deadly Sins. She's been in numerous web series including Hopeless Hookups, LAStories and Jeremiah Can’t Close. Last summer she starred in a short film she wrote and produced. She's currently a voiceover artist at the Voxx dubbing studios and can be seen in The Hollywood Fringe Festivals production of Bachelorette. Her past voiceover credits include BBC Radio's production of The Graduate and LA Theatre Works production of Enemy of the People. She is signed theatrically with FireStarter Entertainment and commercially with Carrie Macy Talent Agency.
In her spare time Julia loves biking, swimming, photography, traveling and reading actor biographies. You can check out some of her writing on Ms In The Biz where she is a guest writer.
